- Perform carpentry, framing, roofing, and other building tasks as required.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues promptly and efficiently.

Must have:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the building industry.
- Trade qualification or relevant certification in building or construction.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Permanent resident of New Zealand.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent carpentry and general building skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Should Have:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
Could Have:
- Potential to lead and supervise a team of junior builders or apprentices.
- Familiarity with construction management software or tools.
- Expertise in specific building techniques or materials.
